K.C.Dart is a freight forwarding company. They do air and freight. They accept booking for air and sea freight, clearance and etc. I didn't know they do much more...............
My expatriate customer chit chat with me when I do Padicure. They are expatriates relocated in Singapore from Australia, their origin is Germany. K.C. Dart is the company that assist them to move all their favorite furniture from Australia. K.C.Dart has a public relationship dept, their company has people who can speak German, French, India, Japanese, Spainish, Russian and etc.
They will give the expatriate customers a booklet that list down all the important telephone/address in Singapore, including shopping centre, hospital, medical centre, massage centre, tuition centre, any thing you can think of the expatriate might need. The customers are free to consult anythings with K.C.Dart in their original mother tongue. K.C.Dart organises talks, seminar, city tour and morning breakfast session for their expatriate customers, so they can immediate acquire new friends during these meeting. They give out free massage voucher to the customer. (of course, they will experience the hassle of selling and pushing them the package after the free message, nothing is free in this world!) They only charge all those session a token ie S$15/-. But I tell you, as the result, the customer will strongly recommend their services to any one who want the same services, any one, do you think so?
Do you see how the new world now can survive in the servicing line? They give value added services. They must think out of the box. They can not just think 'I am a forwarder' or 'transporter', I only do forwarding. The business world are more complex than this now.
